PHLEBOTOMY PROGRAM

Phlebotomy is an ever growing field used in many different settings. Having people who specialize in blood collection and processing is vital in the allied health care industry. Many medical offices, hospitals, laboratories, and health departments employ skilled Technicians to decrease the workload on doctors and nurses.

Phlebotomy is an ever-growing field used in many different settings. Having people who specialize in blood collection and processing is vital in the allied health care industry. Many medical offices, hospitals, laboratories, and health departments employ skilled phlebotomy technicians.

Students in the Phlebotomy course will be guided through an accelerated course examining the knowledge, techniques, and procedures required to be a successful phlebotomy technician. Students who successfully complete the course will have the skills needed to properly obtain and process blood specimens while maintaining mandated safety regulations. The National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) Nationally Registered Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certification (NRCPT) exam will be taken at the completion of this course. Textbook, exam, and supplies included in the cost of this course. Students will be required to wear a disposable lab coat that is included in the cost.

Tuition $1300

All enrollees must be a high school graduate or have a GED and must provide payment with completed registration form. See Admissions to apply. Cash, check, money order, Master Card, or Visa will be accepted at time of registration.
Financial aid and placement assistance are NOT available for this course.
