ETI TECHNICAL COLLEGE CDL CLASS A TRUCK DRIVING COURSE
Admission Requirements
- 18 years of age (Ohio) and 21 years of age (Nationwide)
- Have a valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Pass Entrance Exam
- Obtain a Class A permit with no E restrictions on permit (manual transmission) Do not let BMV alter their regular driver’s license ie: hole punch
- Pass a 5 panel DOT drug test (Accord Occupational Health Services, 1 Petro Pl, Girard OHIO)
- Pass DOT Physical (Accord Occupational Health Services, Girard OHIO)
- Clean driving record
- Pass a background check

Scheduled Class Times Are:
Week 1 – 40 hour Classroom instruction Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM
Week 2 – 40 hour Yard instruction Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM
Week 3 & 4 -80 Hours Combination Range and Road Training Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM
- The CDL Training course is a 160 clock hour program. A Certificate of Completion is awarded upon the successful completion of all requirements of the program. Classes will be held Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM and are held for four weeks. All class starting schedules for any program are determined by ETI and are subject to change without notice. This program is not eligible for Federal Financial Aid.
